What are your cake sizes and servings?
(In line with Freeds's)
Our most popular sizes.
Round cakes:
6" serves up to 5
6" x 4" serves up to 10
6" x 8" serves up to 25
8" x 6" x 4" serves up to 30
8" x 10" serves up to 38
6" x 8" x 10" serves up to 45
6" x 8" x 10" x 12" serves up to 90
6x10x14 serves 100-110

Please note, cakes reduced in size from the original seen in the picture will change
the look somewhat.

Are cake toppers seen in cake pictures included?
No. Cake toppers are provided by the wedding party. You can send it to me
beforehand or leave at the reception site for me to put on.

Can I consult with you over the phone or by e-mail?
Absolutely. Most of my clients are from out-of-town. Everything
can be done over the internet.

How long have you been in business?
Since 2007. I started by making cakes for free to get experience.
I am still not up to professional level.

Can we mix and match flavors for cake tiers, and is there an
additional charge?
I can certainly make each cake tier to be composed of different flavors.
Yes, there is an additional charge.

What does our cake sit on?
All cakes sit on a cake board covered in bakery foil. A fondant covered
board is possible at additional cost. Actual cake stands are available with
a deposit which is refunded once I get it back in good condition.

Do you offer cakes to taste?
No.Most of my cakes are made for people from out of town and are not here to do tastings.

Can we order a smaller ceremonial cake (to cut) and have a
sheet cake to supplement?
Since my cakes are so inexpensive you wouldn't save you any money. So, go
ahead and have a full size pretty cake!

Can you garnish our cake with fresh flowers?
I do not supply fresh flowers, nor put them on the cake. You are more
than welcome to have your florist supply and arrange fresh flowers.
I only do silk flowers. There are also safety concerns to take into
account when using fresh flowers with food. Many popular wedding
flowers are indeed considered toxic. Another thing is usually the cake
sits for hours before it's actually cut, by that time the flowers wilt.
If you are happy with silks,I can do that. If there is any kind of
arrangement (meaning beyond a flower here and there) I have
a lady that does silks for me.

What cake accessories do you have for use?
Yes. Cake stands, stairs, pillars and some silk flowers.
I charge no rental fee, only a deposit to be returned when I get the items
back. Deposit is actual cost should I have to replace it.
Cake knives and other accessories can be rented through your caterer,
or most local catering supply rental companies.

Do you slice and serve the cake?
No.

How do I book my cake?
Full payment holds the date and your cake. Why not just a deposit?
Most bakeries charge a deposit about half of the total cost of the cake.
Since our prices are about half of the cost anyway that you would pay
a professional bakery,I take full payment upfront.

What methods of payment do you accept?
Paypal ( debit, credit cards & e-checks), money orders and cash.
I have been Paypal verified since the year 2000 and proud of it.

Why do you not have a cart to order a cake?
If I had a cart 2 or more cakes could be ordered for the same day.
I am only one and have no employees so I can only take on so
many cakes.

How do short notice/emergency cakes work?
Payment for cakes must be made before I make the cake, this includes
emergency cakes. I will try my best to make the cake you'd like but
it is pretty much what ever we can whip up fast. I do not freeze cakes
so I don't have cakes right on hand. There is also an additional cost.
A short notice cake is any cake ordered 4 days (or less) before cake is
needed. So, 5 days it isn't short notice, 4 days is. You may have contacted
me before 4 days about your cake, but if you wait to pay (which books your
cake) 4 days before the cake is needed, it is considered a short notice cake.

Do you do grooms cakes?
Yes, normally when I'm doing the bridal cake as well.
I can also can make cakes that look like a bridal and a grooms cake.

Do you work with wedding planners?
No, I only deal directly with the wedding party.
